Everton are expected to be in the market for a new shot-stopper this summer.
Millwall’s Tom King is beaten by Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min
Everton want to make Millwall’s Tom King their new number 2 goalkeeper, the Sun on Sunday reports (27/03, page 63).
The 22-year-old has made 11 Lions appearances this season, impressing with five clean sheets in the absence of regular ‘keeper Jordan Archer.
Everton were linked with a move for Archer a year ago (The Sun), but now appear to have turned their attention to King.
The former England Under-17 international began life at Crystal Palace, before making the short move across south London to Millwall in 2014.
The report claims Everton want King as understudy to Joel Robles, who has successfully ousted summer signing Maarten Stekelenburg in recent months.

It is claimed the Toffees could face competition from Watford for the Plymouth-born shot-stopper, with the Hornets also said to be tracking his progress.
And Millwall will reportedly sell King, who has another year to run on his contract at The Den, at ‘the right price’.
