Everton want to sell Brazil international midfielder Allan, who has offers from the Middle East, according to 90min.

Everton want Allan gone

90min have reported that Everton were open to letting Allan leave in the summer transfer window in order to reduce their wage bill and free up more funds.

The Toffees have not changed their stance and want to get rid of the 31-year-old Brazil international defensive midfielder, who cost the Merseyside club £22.3 million in transfer fees (Sky Sports) in September 2020 when they signed him from Napoli.

Carlo Ancelotti, now the manager of Real Madrid, was then in charge of Everton.

The former Chelsea manager worked with Allan at Napoli.

90min have claimed that Everton received offers from clubs in Qatar for Allan, who has the option to move to the UAE where the transfer window is open until October 4.

Disappointing spell

In our view, Allan has been a disappointment at Everton and has not really managed to make a huge impact.

While the Brazilian did well for a spell under Ancelotti, injuries and poor form mean that he has not really contributed as much as he would have liked.

Allan has made 52 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
