According to Calciomercato, Everton are interested in signing Pedro, who could be leaving Roma this summer.
The Italian news outlet states that the 33-year-old may have just finished his first and only campaign with the Serie A side.
Calciomercato add that Everton are interested, as Pedro is a player who Carlo Ancelotti has always held in high regard.
You may remember the 65-cap Spain international from his time at Chelsea, where he made 137 Premier League appearances.
While at Stamford Bridge, Pedro scored 29 Premier League goals – including two Goal of the Month winners – and also won the Premier League title.
In 40 appearances for Roma this season, the ex-Barcelona forward scored six goals, while also providing seven assists.

Pedro has also won the World Cup, and would bring a winning mentality to the Goodison Park dressing room – despite that, Everton should steer clear.
Pedro isn’t what Everton should be looking for
There’s no doubting Pedro’s quality – that isn’t up for debate.
However, the Toffees need to be focusing on younger players who have room to improve, rather than those who are heading for retirement.
On a free transfer, a deal for the forward – who Gary Lineker called stunning – might be worth doing on Deadline Day.
However, if Marcel Brands is eyeing these players as his primary targets, something is wrong.

If Pedro did arrive on Merseyside, we’re sure he’d do a decent job, but he would only be a short-term fix.
Everton must look to the long-term, and sign more players like Ben Godfrey, Lucas Digne and Richarlison.
