According to Clubcall, Everton have scouted Spartak Moscow midfielder Alex Kral ahead of a possible move for him in 2020.

Everton invested in three midfielders over the summer, as Andre Gomes signed permanently whilst Fabian Delph and Jean-Philippe Gbamin were both signed too.

Marco Silva still has major issues in the middle of the park though, and Marcel Brands may be out trying to find a target for the two 2020 transfer windows.

It’s now believed that Everton have been looking at Spartak ace Kral, but he would only be able to join next summer having already played for both Spartak and Slavia Prague this season.

Spartak paid around €11million (£9.5million) to sign Kral, and having tied him down to a long-term deal, they would be seeking a huge profit in order to sell him next summer.

Kral, 21, may remind many of David Luiz given their similar hair, but he’s an all-action midfielder with great energy, athletic ability and technique.

Kral excelled for the Czech Republic in their recent win over England, and it seems that Everton have now registered their interest in luring Kral to the Premier League after seeing him impress against Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson in the midfield battle.

Other Premier League clubs are thought to be keen, and Everton may face an anxious wait given that other clubs have many months to spot Kral’s potential before they can make a move next summer.
