Everton want the 29-year-old Fenerbahce man, according to reports from Turkey.
Everton have submitted a £3.8 million bid for Portugal winger Nani, according to Turkish publication Son Medya.
The Toffees are poised for a summer shopping spree now that manager Ronald Koeman has been named as Roberto Martinez’s successor at Everton.
According to The Liverpool Echo, the Dutchman has a £100 million warchest to utilise this summer, with plenty of players linked with a switch to Goodison Park.
The latest product of the rumour mill appears to be relating to former Manchester United winger Nani, whom Son Medya claim was the subject of a £3.8 million bid by Everton recently.
The report goes to state that the Fenerbahce winger – whose contract expires in 2018 – is also courting interest from Spanish side Valencia, who have reportedly lodged a higher offer by about £800,000.
The 29-year-old, who turns 30 in October, left Manchester United in 2014 after eight years at Old Trafford, joining former club Sporting Lisbon on a season-long loan before sealing a permanent switch to Fenerbahce last summer.
Nani netted 27 Premier League goals in 147 appearances for the Red Devils.
