According to The Express, Everton are lining up a move to bring in Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy should Romelu Lukaku leave Goodison Park.
The Toffees are back in the Europa League under Ronald Koeman, and will be looking to strengthen their squad this summer in preparation for that competition – but Koeman also has question marks over some of his current squad.

Vardy, 30, has enjoyed a remarkable rise from non-league to Premier League in recent years, and his 24 goals in the 2015/16 season were a huge factor in Leicester’s stunning run to the title.
The England international, who has hit six goals in 16 caps for his country, endured more of an up-an-down campaign this year, finding form late in the season to finish up with 13 Premier League goals.

After rejecting a big-money move to Arsenal last summer, it’s now claimed that Everton could move for Vardy if Lukaku leaves the club, potentially offering him another chance to leave the King Power Stadium.
Such a move would see Vardy reunite with Everton director of football Steve Walsh, the man credited with urging Leicester to sign him whilst he was playing for Fleetwood Town, and Walsh’s knowledge of the player may well be driving Everton’s alleged interest this summer.
