According to The Mirror, Everton are interested in signing Hull City defender Andrew Robertson as the club pursue new signings this summer.
The Toffees finished seventh in the Premier League in Ronald Koeman’s first season in charge, a real improvement on Roberto Martinez’s final two seasons as manager.

Koeman will now be hoping to splash Farhad Moshiri’s cash again in the transfer window, having brought in the likes of Ashley Williams, Morgan Schneiderlin and Idrissa Gueye over the last year.
Whilst fans are looking for a goalkeeper, a centre back and another winger to be signed this summer, The Mirror report that Everton are also looking at a left back in Hull City’s Andrew Robertson.

The Toffees do have Leighton Baines at left back, but he turns 33 in December and has struggled with some niggling injuries of late, with Koeman potentially needing to land his successor.
Luke Garbutt hasn’t developed as hoped, whilst Brendan Galloway’s failed loan move to West Bromwich Albion means that Koeman may want a more established option at left back.

Scotland international Robertson, 23, joined Hull from Dundee United in the summer of 2014, and has been a mainstay of the Hull side ever since, notching one goal and two assists in the Premier League this past season.
With Hull now relegated to the Championship, Robertson could pursue a move back to the top flight, and his delivery from wide areas and attacking runs may make him the ideal long-term replacement for Baines, if Everton can get a deal done.
