According to the Daily Mail, Everton want to sign PSV striker Donyell Malen after his flying start to the season.

Malen has been in brilliant form for PSV Eindhoven this term, after breaking through into their first-team.

The 20-year-old, who was on Arsenal’s books up until two years ago, already has a staggering 11 goals this season, in just 15 appearances.

With Everton on the hunt for a goalscorer Malen is now reportedly on their list of targets for January.

If Malen was to join the Toffees he would not come cheaply, as the Daily Mirror report that PSV have slapped a £50 million price-tag on their star attacker.

But Everton have proven that they have funds to invest, and Malen’s arrival would give Marco Silva one of the most exciting, young forward lines in the Premier League.

Malen and Moise Kean are regarded as two of Europe’s most promising up-and-coming strikers, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin has three goals in his last three games and may finally be starting to show signs that he can become a regular scorer.

Malen can play on either flank as well as a central striker, and his arrival would surely be exciting for the Goodison Park side, as they look to add more goals to their side.
