According to Plaza Radio, Everton are keen to sign Valencia forward Gonçalo Guedes, who has been offered to Wolves.

The Spanish news outlet state that Valencia are in desperate need of money this summer, so are willing to let their No.7 leave.

Everton have declared their interest.

However, Plaza Radio suggest that Valencia might ask for a bit more cash, as Paris Saint-Germain hold a sell-on percentage worth between 15% and 20%.

Elsewhere, it was the Daily Mail who wrote that Wolves have been offered the 24-year-old, who is a client of Jorge Mendes.

Valencia paid £36 million to sign the 22-cap Portugal international from PSG back in August 2018.

Since then, Guedes has scored just 23 goals in 136 games for the Spanish outfit, which is somewhat disappointing.

His efforts in La Liga are all the more underwhelming, as there was plenty of hype surrounding the forward when he was younger.

The Daily Mail even described him as the new Cristiano Ronaldo back in 2014, when revealing that Arsenal were keen to sign him.

There’s no denying that Guedes hasn’t quite lived up to his potential yet, but there’s still plenty of time for him to do so at 24.

Perhaps a move to the Premier League with either Everton or Wolves is just what he needs to kickstart his career.
