Everton are keen to sign Besiktas striker Cyle Larin during the summer window and have offered Cenk Tosun in exchange, as reported by Fanatik.
With the Toffees losing twice on home soil this week in the absence of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the realisation must have dawned on Carlo Ancelotti and Marcel Brands; if Everton are serious about pushing on in the Premier League, they need a striker capable of easing the burden on their talismanic number nine.
Could Larin be that man?
The statistics certainly look good. In 28 games, the Canada international has scored 15 times this season.
Back in 2017, his former Orlando City teammate – former Brazil superstar Kaka – predicted that Larin would one day be showing off his ice-cool finishing at one of Europe’s major clubs.
“I think Cyle can go far,” the 2007 Ballon D’Or winner told MLS Soccer. “Cyle can play in a big team in Europe as well.”

After firing Besiktas into the Super Lig title race, Larin may be about to make good on Kaka’s prediction.
Fanatic report that Everton are keen to sign the Ontario-born 25-year-old in the summer and have offered Tosun, their £27 million, £60,000-a-week man, in exchange.
Tosun is currently on loan at Besiktas, returning for a second spell at the Turkish outfit in January.
And the Istanbul giants may be tempted to bring their former talisman back to the Vodafone Arena on a full-time basis, even if that means letting Larin depart.
This is not the first time Larin has been linked with a Premier League club. West Brom, in January, were reported to have made a £14 million offer for the striker.
