According to The Daily Star, Everton are among the clubs interested in signing Adam Lallana when his contract at Liverpool runs out at the end of next month.

Lallana will become a free agent at the end of June, and Everton are reported to be interested in signing the England international midfielder on a free transfer.

West Ham, Arsenal, and Crystal Palace are also interested in striking a deal with the 32-year-old, but Leicester City are leading the race for the former Southampton star, with manager Brendan Rodgers having signed him for Liverpool back in 2014, according to the report.

Good signing for Everton?

Lallana has had injury issues at Liverpool in recent years and is now pretty much a squad under manager Jurgen Klopp.

However, the 32-year-old is a very good midfielder who knows the Premier League inside out and would make the Everton midfield better.

The big problem is, of course, whether the player himself would want to join Liverpool’s Merseyside rivals Everton.

Moreover, it remains to be seen if the Toffees would be willing to pay Lallana the £100,000-a-week wage he currently gets at Liverpool, as reported by The Daily Star.
