Everton are hopeful of snapping up Burnley defender Michael Keane this summer.

According to a report in the Daily Express, Everton will go back in for Burnley defender Michael Keane.
Keane is set to leave Turf Moor this summer, with Ronald Koeman’s side very interested in snapping him up.

Keane was originally expected to sign for Manchester United, which caused Everton to look elsewhere for defensive targets.
However, the Red Devils have now moved to sign Benfica’s Victor Lindelof – meaning they no longer need Keane.
And Everton are hopeful of being able to secure the 24-year-old’s signature now.

Koeman’s men are planning to step up their interest in Keane, with the England international now believed to be keen on a move to Merseyside.
Keane would likely partner Ashely Williams in Everton’s defence next season, if he was to join Koeman’s side.
