Everton will reportedly decide whether to loan out Antony Evans and Fraser Hornby this week.

According to a report from The Sun on Sunday (09/12; page 57), Everton will look to make a decision on whether they will loan out Antony Evans and Fraser Hornby in January within the next week.

The report claims that both Evans and Hornby are wanted by a number of Championship and League One sides, and they have their eye on securing some game-time in senior football.

The pair feature regularly for the under-23s at Goodison Park, with Evans scoring three times for David Unsworth’s men. Hornby has only scored once, but has spent a decent portion of the season sidelined with injury.

Hornby also caught the attention during one of the international breaks this term, as he scored five times in two games for Scotland’s under-21s to inspire them to wins against Andorra and the Netherlands.

The Sun on Sunday (09/12; page 57) reports that the Toffees are yet to decide whether they want to loan them out or keep them amongst the under-23 side for the rest of the season.

With Marco Silva’s men performing well, it is difficult to see either breaking into the first-team picture at Goodison Park in the coming months unless they get their chance in the FA Cup, with a home tie with Lincoln City ahead in the third round.

Loaning them out therefore, could be a good move if Silva feels that neither is giving him too much to think about just now.
