Everton look set to continue their impressive summer business with the signing of the Malaga man.

According to a report from the Times, Everton are set to complete the signing of Malaga forward Sandro Ramirez by Saturday.

That follows hot on the heels of a deal for fellow forward Henry Onyekuru, who confirmed his own move to Goodison Park on social media (as reported by the Daily Mail).

Former Barcelona player Sandro has been in outstanding form since switching to Malaga 12 months ago, and it is now being claimed that Everton will announce a deal in the next 48 hours.

Given Sandro’s presence in the Spain squad for this summer’s U21 European Championships, a move was always going to be delayed despite claims he has already completed a medical with the Toffees, but it now seems a move will be finalised practically as soon as that tournament finishes.

It will come as more good news for Everton fans who probably cannot believe quite how well this summer is going in terms of signings, with Onyekuru joining Davy Klaassen and Jordan Pickford on Merseyside and Sandro’s arrival just around the corner.

There is still work for Everton manager Ronald Koeman to do, with a new centre-back and another creative player in the mould of Gylfi Sigurdsson surely high on his agenda, yet take nothing away from the Dutchman; he has worked wonders in just a few short weeks and long may that continue.
