Everton are reportedly moving for Barcelona winger Malcom.

Malcom of FC Barcelona controls the ball during the Spanish Copa del Rey match between Barcelona and Valencia at Estadio Benito Villamarin on May 25, 2019 in Seville.

According to RMC Sport, Everton will launch a move for Barcelona winger Malcom in the coming hours, hoping to sign him for around £31million.

The Toffees have secured one signing from Barcelona this summer by landing Andre Gomes on a permanent basis, and they may well return to the Camp Nou once again.

Winger Malcom has managed to become a forgotten man at Barcelona in just a year, as he has remarkably started just six league games since joining from Bordeaux last summer.

The 22-year-old looks set to move on this summer to play first-team football elsewhere, and Everton are now ready to pounce, as he’s Marco Silva’s top priority – and with Arsenal yet to firm up their interest, a move to Everton could be on the cards.

It’s believed that Everton will offer around €35million (£31million) for Malcom, with Marcel Brands hoping to use his strong links at Barcelona to secure a deal.

Brands swooped to sign Lucas Digne and Yerry Mina last summer, as well as taking Gomes on loan, so Malcom could be the latest Barca misfit to head to Merseyside.

Everton have been linked with a host of wingers, specifically left-footed wingers who tend to play on the right flank, in order to offer some balance to Silva’s side.

Malcom showed his quality with Bordeaux, hitting 12 goals and seven assists in the 2017-18 campaign, and having faded into obscurity at Barcelona, he may be given a chance to revive his career at Everton.
