According to The Times, Everton have identified Norwich defender Max Aarons as an option at right-back ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Canaries have slapped a £30 million asking price on the 21-year-old’s head, which The Times claim Everton will try to haggle down.
Paul Joyce’s report also claims that the Toffees think Aarons could have a similar impact at Goodison Park to Ben Godfrey.
Everton spent £20 million to bring the 23-year-old to Merseyside from Norfolk back in the summer, and he’s been a huge success.
Interestingly, The Times add that Aarons is keen on a move to Merseyside.
Norwich’s asking price is set at £30 million because the 11-cap England Under-21 international has three years left on his contract at Carrow Road.

While £30 million might seem like a lot, the right-back’s potential is frightening – in our view, Everton should go all out for Aarons.
In 40 Championship appearances this season, he’s scored one goal and recorded four assists as Daniel Farke’s side sit top of the Championship.
Aarons also has Premier League experience, starting 36 games in the 2019/20 campaign.

If that wasn’t enough for you, Barcelona held talks with Norwich over signing the London-born defender back in September, according to the Guardian.
Sky Sports also revealed that Bayern Munich wanted him back in July.
Aarons is a huge prospect, and if Everton can get their hands on him, they’d have an ideal successor to Seamus Coleman’s throne.
