According to 90min, Everton have joined the race to sign Danny Ings from Southampton, amid interest from other Premier League clubs.
Leicester and Tottenham are also keen on signing the 3-cap England international, and it seems likely that he could leave St Mary’s.
Why do we say that?
Well, as 90min mention, Ings is currently refusing to commit his future to Southampton and has rejected a four-year contract from the Saints.
The former Liverpool striker – who cost Southampton £20 million – has just 18 months remaining on his current terms.
That leaves Southampton in a vulnerable position, as the longer the situation goes on for, the more his value will decrease.

Ings – who has 50 Premier League goals – feels he can play for a club challenging for a spot in the Champions League.
90min state that Southampton will not entertain offers this month, as they will continue in their attempts to get him to sign a new contract.
Ings is a forward of real pedigree, and it speaks volumes that Jurgen Klopp didn’t even want to let him leave Liverpool, as the Liverpool Echo state.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss was a big fan of the ex-Burnley striker, and described him as ‘exceptional’ when speaking to Liverpool’s official website.
Klopp said: “The goals he scores are exceptional, the chances he has or creates himself are exceptional: the half-volley, quick decision-making, chest, bam – it’s Ingsy. We all saw these situations but in the end when he was fit he couldn’t get enough match time because of the quality of the squad we have.”
Undoubtedly, he would be a fantastic addition to Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
