Everton’s Bassala Sambou is reportedly wanted by Blackburn Rovers.

According to The Sun, Everton forward Bassala Sambou is wanted by Blackburn Rovers ahead of the summer transfer window.
Sambou, 20, was born in Germany but started out his career with Coventry City, coming up through the ranks at the Ricoh Arena having joined in 2011.
In 2016, the striker moved on to Everton having turned down professional terms with the Sky Blues, as the Toffees paid compensation to lure him to Goodison Park.

Now, it’s claimed that Sambou is wanted by Blackburn Rovers, which would hand him a reunion with manager Tony Mowbray, having worked together at Coventry.
First-team football needed
Sambou was touted as a potential star of the future when he joined Everton, but he has yet to make his first-team debut after nearly two years on Merseyside.

After loaning out the likes of Kieran Dowell, Ademola Lookman and Joe Williams this term, it’s now time for Everton to send Sambou out as well, as he needs playing time.
It’s almost a year since Everton coach David Unsworth compared Sambou to Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck in an interview with the Liverpool Echo, but first-team football is needed for the youngster to become a Premier League regular.
Blackburn are pushing for promotion from League One, and Everton would no doubt love to see Sambou play in the Championship next term, whilst reuniting with a manager he knows in Mowbray should also be appealing.
