Everton reportedly want Andre Gomes of Barcelona.
It has been reported that Everton and Barcelona have agreed on a £22 million fee over the permanent transfer of Gomes.
The Toffees, though, are not scheduled to make the announcement official anytime soon, as they are still working on the finer details of the transfer, according to the report.
Good signing for Everton
Gomes is a very good central midfielder who did well during his loan spell at Everton from Barcelona this past season.
The 25-year-old Portugal international made 24 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Toffees in 2018-19, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
The former Valencia star struggled to make an impact at Barcelona, but the central midfielder is hugely talented and fits Everton manager Marco Silva’s playing style perfectly.
Given that Gomes is only 25 years of age, the Portuguese can only get better in the coming years.
