Everton striker Cenk Tosun has barely featured in his side’s last three outings.

Everton signed Tosun from Besiktas in the January transfer window, but the Turkish striker has not hit the ground running at Goodison Park.
Tosun has played just 12 minutes in Everton’s last three matches, and did not get off the substitutes’ bench in Sam Allardyce’s side most recent outing against Crystal Palace.

Questions are already being asked over whether Tosun is destined to fail at Everton.
However, the Mail claim that his finishing ability has actually caught the eye in training.
While Allardyce clearly has doubts over utilising the striker regularly, he has shown the he can put the ball in the back of the net with regularity in training.

Tosun looks likely to remain on Everton’s bench for the time being, as Oumar Niasse scored against Palace.
The Toffees’ victory over the Eagles has lifted them up to ninth in the Premier League table, with Allardyce’s side now eight points clear of safety.
