According to Tuttomercatoweb, Roma have joined Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in the race to sign Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.
Cakir has been heavily linked with a move away from Trabzonspor.
The 23-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best players in Turkey.
Trabsonzspor president Ahmet Agaoglu described Cakir as one of the top three best goalkeepers in Europe. Better than one of David de Gea, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Alisson Becker.

TMW claim Everton, Spurs and Liverpool are all keen on him.
Tottenham may be looking for a long-term replacement for Hugo Lloris. Everton’s Jordan Pickford’s form has dipped this season, while the Reds could be seeking a promising number two.
But the Premier League trio seemingly have competition from Roma. Moreover, Agaoglu says his club have received a £17.5 million bid.
Cakir’s current ability and potential suggests he could be a bargain in today’s market.
After Chelsea spent some £70 million on Kepa, there were fears in-demand goalkeepers could also prompt silly figures.
Of the three Premier League clubs keen, Spurs appear the most likely.
Jose Mourinho’s side will need to think about replacing World Cup winner Lloris. He turns 34 later this year, and his contract expires in 2022.
Paulo Gazzinga is Lloris’s understudy, but the 28-year-old isn’t ever likely to replace the Frenchman and become Tottenham’s long-term solution.
