Marco Silva is under pressure at Everton after a number of poor displays.

According to The Telegraph, Everton sources claim that Marco Silva has two major problems; stewing on defeats for too long and failing to inspire players in the dressing room or on the training ground.
Everton hosted Sheffield United on Saturday after losing 3-1 at Bournemouth, meaning fans were expecting a big response against the newly-promoted Blades.
However, The Toffees fell flat yet again, losing 2-0 at Goodison Park as a Yerry Mina own goal and a Lys Mousset strike condemned Everton to defeat.
It’s now three defeats in the last four Premier League games for Everton, meaning Silva is under huge pressure from Everton fans right now – and details are emerging about his work on Merseyside.
Sources claim that Silva stews on defeats for too long, which is a major concern, and that he struggles to really inspire his players in the dressing room or in training.
That may not be a surprise to Everton fans after some of the performances this season, as the Toffees do often look like a team lacking a bit of fire.

The departure of Idrissa Gueye is an issue in that regard, as he was the driving heartbeat of the Everton side, and Silva now needs to pick his side up rather than linger on that defeat.
Silva faces a tricky Carabao Cup tie with Sheffield Wednesday before facing Manchester City, and if results don’t improve by the next international break in October, he may find himself under mounting pressure.
