According to The Sun, Everton are ready to sell Nikola Vlasic to CSKA Moscow unless Newcastle United make an offer for the attacking midfielder.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Russian club CSKA are interested in signing Vlasic from Everton in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that the Russian Premier League club are putting together a £12 million bid for the 21-year-old.

The Sun, though, has also suggested that the Toffees could change their mind about selling Vlasic to CSKA should Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle make a bid for the former Hajduk Split youngster.

Newcastle United move?

Vlasic has struggled to make an impact during his time at Everton, and it does not come as a surprise that the Toffees are reportedly willing to cash in on the Croatia international attacking midfielder.

Newcastle could do with an attacking midfielder this summer, and Vlasic would not be a bad addition to Benitez’s squad, although a transfer fee of £12 million does appear to be a bit too expensive for the Magpies.
