Everton have ‘set their sights’ on Torino striker Andrea Belotti, according to new claims from Italian newspaper Tuttosport.

It’s claimed that Torino are trying to keep hold of Belotti, but there are ‘no signs of optimism’ right now, and they fear he will go.

Torino have made ‘timid promises’ to the striker, and it looks like Belotti will pursue a move away from Turin at the end of the season.

The report claims that six clubs are preparing moves for Belotti – AC Milan, Roma, Napoli, Chelsea, Everton and Atletico Madrid.

Torino can expect a big fee for Belotti, having seen him smash 104 goals in 220 games since arriving from Palermo in 2015.

Now 27, Belotti can’t be stuck in relegation battles with Torino forever, and the time may be right for him to explore new opportunities.

Carlo Ancelotti will know all about Belotti given his knowledge of Italian football, and adding another goalscorer is exactly what Everton need.

The prospect of Belotti partnering Dominic Calvert-Lewin with support from Richarlison and James Rodriguez is an exciting one, and fans may love the prospect of Belotti coming in to give a real goal boost for next season and beyond.
