Everton are said to be keeping close tabs on the Aston Villa youngster.

According to a report from the Mirror, Everton were among the clubs to send scouts to watch Aston Villa’s Keinan Davis on Tuesday, and they will have been impressed as the teenager got on the score sheet in a 4-0 victory.
The Toffees were allegedly joined by representatives from Arsenal and Manchester United after Davis was given a major role under Villa boss Steve Bruce.

So far this season the 19-year-old has featured seven times in the Championship, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.
Everton are in desperate need of more fire-power after selling Romelu Lukaku to United earlier this year, and the Toffees’ failure to replace the Belgian international has left them struggling, although Oumar Niasse has impressed since returning from the cold.

Davis is one of the most exciting young players to come through Villa’s ranks for quite some time, and as a result Bruce will be desperate to keep hold of him for as long as possible.
While Everton could offer the player Premier League football, Villa’s recent resurgence means they are expected to challenge for a top-six finish come May.
Everton already have some of the best young players in the country, with the likes of Tom Davies and Ademola Lookman getting their chance to impress, and time will tell if they try to add the Villa sensation to that list.
