Yacine Brahimi and Ruben Semedo have both been linked with Everton.

The Liverpool Echo have been reporting today that Everton recently had scouts in attendance for the Sporting Lisbon game v Porto. The two big Portuguese rivals faced off at the weekend, with Porto running out winners in a 2-1 victory.

It was a tight affair between the two sides, but who would Everton have been watching.

Well they have been heavily linked with players on both sides in the past.

Porto’s Algerian winger Yacine Brahimi looked to be joining the club in the summer. However, a deal said to be in the region of £33.6 million for the player by the Mirror collapsed on transfer deadline day in September. It was not interest they revisited in January.

Meanwhile Sporting defender Ruben Semedo has also been linked with a move to Everton in the past.

In October it was suggested by the Sun that Everton had identified the Portuguese defender as a potential replacement for Phil Jagielka as the club look to improve their defensive line.

If Everton scouts were present it is surely likely that these two men were on their radar throughout.
