Everton are said to be looking to complete a transfer of Fiorentina attacker.

According to a report on Tutto Mercato Web, Everton have arranged a meeting with Fiorentina over the possibility of signing Josip Iličić.

Everton have had an eye on the Italian market in recent times, with Toffees representatives reportedly holding a meeting in Milan yesterday.

Everton were said to be interested in signing as many as six players from AC Milan and Inter Milan by Gianluca Di Marzio.

And reports today suggest that Everton have not stopped their dealings in Italy.

The Toffees have scheduled a meeting with Fiorentina director of football Pantaleo Corvino, to discuss signing Iličić.

The 29-year-old Slovenian international is generally stationed just behind the front man, and could improve Ronald Koeman’s attacking options.

Koeman is known to be looking to make Everton a greater threat in the final third next season.

Iličić made 36 appearnaces for Fiorentina over the past campaign, scoring on six occasions and claiming five assists.
