According to Belgian newspaper Het Belang van Limburg, Everton are in the race to sign Nordsjaelland midfielder Mohammed Kudus.

It’s claimed that the Toffees want Kudus, with a host of clubs believed to be interested in signing the Ghanaian this summer.

Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, Fenerbahce and Lazio are also believed to be in the race. Nordsjaelland won’t be keen to sell, and there is no mention of how much he would cost.

Kudus, 19, emerged with the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, before Nordsjaelland lured him to Denmark in 2018.

The teenager has starred in their first team, bagging 10 goals in 22 games this season. He’s even scored once in his only Ghana cap, again showing his goalscoring ability.

Kudus looks to be a real talent for the future, and Everton appear to be returning for him. Last year, Ghana Soccernet reported that the Toffees wanted Kudus, but couldn’t get a deal done.

However, Ghana Soccernet also recently claimed that Newcastle’s potential new owners want Kudus, and had allegedly made contact about a potential move.

Everton and Newcastle could now fight it out for Kudus, who can also play up front, with the Toffees surely worried about the Magpies having huge money to seal a deal.
