The Toffees are not keen to sell the player at this stage.
Everton have rejected a bid from Brighton and Hove Albion for talented striker Courtney Duffus. The Liverpool Echo is reporting that the Championship side are interested in bringing him in to help them in their bid for promotion.
But Everton are not keen on letting the 21-year-old go at this point in time, as he has just started to show his best form for the club’s under-23s.

However, the report claims that Brighton will be returning with a second bid before the end of the transfer window this evening.
Duffus has been with Everton since joining the club from Cheltenham Town in 2012 and has been spent time out on loan at Bury back in 2014.
He is yet to make a single appearance for Everton and there is no doubt that the player would probably consider the move as a chance to play regular first-team football.

But he has been in good form for the under-23s recently and Everton may have eyes on him becoming a future first-team player given the strength of those performances.
It will certainly be interesting to see if he sticks around at Finch Farm.
