Everton continue to be linked with Benfica’s Andre Carrillo.

According to a report from Record in Portugal, Everton are ramping up their interest in Benfica winger Andre Carrillo as Marco Silva allegedly pursues a reunion.
The Toffees have yet to make a new signing this summer, but Silva and new director of football Marcel Brands are expected to be busy ahead of the new season.
Another winger may be on Everton’s wish list, either as competition for Theo Walcott on the right or to start on the left, especially with questions over Ademola Lookman’s future.
Now, Record in Portugal report that Everton are ramping up their interest in signing Benfica wide man Andre Carrillo, who looks set for a summer move.
Carrillo, 27, enjoyed a strong World Cup with Peru, and that may have been enough for Silva to pursue a reunion with the pacey winger before August’s transfer deadline.
Silva worked with Carrillo at Sporting in Portugal before the winger made a controversial move to Lisbon rivals Benfica, and the pair reunited at Watford last summer, where the winger impressed before falling out of favour after Silva’s sacking.

Silva and Carrillo appear to know how to work well together, and The Times even reported in January that Silva had already discussed taking Carrillo to Everton with him before being sacked by Watford, making a reunion seem almost inevitable this summer.
Benfica are unlikely to stand in Carrillo’s way this summer, and after showing his quality with Peru, Silva may just want to lure Carrillo to Goodison Park this summer, adding more pace to what was at times a slow Everton side last term.
