Everton have already failed with one bid for QPR’s Josh Bowler – but look set to return with a new offer.

According to The Mirror, Everton are preparing a new and improved bid for Queens Park Rangers winger Josh Bowler, after failing with their first offer.
The Toffees are expected to splash the cash this summer after finishing seventh in the Premier League table in Ronald Koeman’s first season in charge, but most fans will be focusing on first-team additions.
However, Everton’s recent transfer strategy suggests that they will focus on signing young talents for the future, too. In recent times, Bassala Sambou, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Ademola Lookman have all arrived at Goodison Park, with the Toffees looking to develop young players.
Now, The Mirror report that Everton are planning to make a new bid for Queens Park Rangers talent Josh Bowler, having already failed with one offer for his services.

It’s claimed that Everton offered a deal worth £1.5million rising to £3million for Bowler, but Ian Holloway’s side rejected that bid, leaving the Toffees to plan a new and improved offer.
Winger Bowler, 18, had been on the books with West London rivals Fulham before joining QPR in 2013, and he has been making his way up through the ranks at Loftus Road ever since.

Bowler was handed his first-team debut by QPR on the final day of the Championship season earlier this month, and whilst he may be looking to kick on with the R’s, he may end up heading to Merseyside.
It’s unclear just how much Everton now plan to offer, but the Toffees aren’t backing down from their pursuit of teenager Bowler, if reports are to be believed.
