Everton are reportedly interested in signing Ipswich Town’s young defender.
The Daily Mirror are reporting that Everton are lining up a £4 million January bid for Ipswich Town defender Adam Webster.
The Toffees currently sit in ninth position in the Premier League table, and Ronald Koeman will be looking to bolster his options over the next month, as he looks to guide his side up the table in the second half of the season.

And, with the average age of their first-team squad being one of the highest in the Premier League, the recruitment of talented youngsters must surely be high on the agenda for the Dutchman.
The Daily Mirror suggest that Sunderland are also interested in Webster, and that the Tractor Boys are willing to listen to offers for the young defender.

The 21-year-old moved to Portman Road from Portsmouth in June of this year, for a fee believed to be in the region of £750,000, and has gone on to establish himself as an important member of Mick McCarthy’s first-team, making 18 Championship appearances for his club so far this term.
And with the opening of the January transfer window just around the corner, this will certainly be one to keep an eye on.
