Everton are reportedly interested in signing Kieran Trippier from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Everton are interested in signing Kieran Trippier from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
According to the British tabloid, Everton are planning to make a £12 million offer for the 26-year-old defender.
The Toffees reportedly want the right-back as a replacement for Seamus Coleman, who could be out of action for at least a year with a double break in his leg.
Good move from Everton?
Trippier is a good right-back and has proved himself in the Premier League with Burnley.
The former England Under-21 international has struggled to play regularly for Tottenham, and is clearly behind Kyle Walker in the pecking order.
Everton do need a quality right-back not only to play in place of Coleman but also to compete with the Republic of Ireland international in the long run.
Trippier has a lot of quality and his best years are ahead of him. Everton would be making a very smart signing if they are able to secure the services of the former Manchester City prospect.
