Everton are reportedly keen on signing the Manchester City ace.

According to a report from the Manchester Evening News, Everton are keen on signing Manchester City ace Yaya Toure this summer, with Sam Allardyce thought to be keen on beefing up his midfield options.
The Ivory Coast legend will be available on a free transfer this summer, after having spent eight glorious years at the Etihad.
The Manchester Evening News claim that Toure is keen to remain in England, and the Toffees’ close proximity to Manchester would appeal to the 34-year-old.
Good signing for Everton?

The former Barcelona man has been on of the Premier League’s most iconic central midfielders over the past decade, and although his powers are waning, he still has a lot to offer at the very highest level.
Toure has been a wonderful servant for City, racking up an impressive 79 goals and 50 assists in 315 games in all competitions, and that kind of output from midfield could help take Everton to another level.

The City ace is a wonderful passer of the football, and that combined with his physicality could prove to be a real asset for Sam Allardyce’s side.
Whilst Toure’s wages would likely be fairly extortionate, his availability on a free transfer should present the Blues with an opportunity to secure themselves a real bargain, and the Ivorian would surely be a hit at Goodison Park, if he does in fact swap Manchester for Merseyside.
