The 29-year-old reportedly has just one year left on his current deal at the KCOM Stadium, according to the Yorkshire Post, and it appears that the Toffees are keen to take advantage of the somewhat precarious situation.

The Yorkshire Post are suggesting that the Merseyside outfit are weighing up a potential £4 million offer for the Egypt international.
Given the two clubs’ current positions in the Premier League table, it may be difficult for the former Sunderland man to turn a switch to Goodison Park down if he is given the chance.

Hull look to be in serious danger of returning to the Championship at the first time of asking – they sit at the bottom of the table and are three points adrift of safety – while Everton sit seventh which puts them at the top of what appears to be the best of the rest within the division.
Though Elmohamady’s form this term means that he may perhaps not be the marquee signing that Toffees fans are hoping for, he will certainly bring some additional depth to Ronald Koeman’s team, given his ability to play in defence or in midfield.
