Everton are said to be lining up a swap deal with Manchester United for Romelu Lukaku.

According to a report in the Independent, Everton are looking to take Manchester United’s Chris Smalling and Sergio Romero in any deal for Romelu Lukaku.
United are said to be looking to sign Lukaku this summer, after their move for Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Greizmann failed.
The Red Devils are desperate to add a new striker, and Everton’s Lukaku is thought to be on their wishlist.

The powerful forward netted 25 goals in the Premier League for Everton this past season.
Ronald Koeman is understood to be keen to keep Lukaku at Goodison Park, but realises that he may be fighting a losing battle.

And if Lukaku does leave, Koeman wants to use the striker to bring both Smalling and Romero to Everton.
The Toffees are looking to add a new centre-back and a goalkeeper this summer.
Everton want to strengthen defensively, and Koeman reportedly feels that Romero’s and Smalling’s would improve his current options.
