According to The Sun, Everton are interested in signing Joshua King from Bournemouth in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Everton plan to make a bid of £15 million for King.

The 28-year-old forward is reportedly looking to leave Bournemouth after the Cherries got relegated to the Championship.

Stats

According to WhoScored, King made 24 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Bournemouth this past season, scoring six goals and providing four assists in the process.

During the 2018-19 campaign, the Norway international made 34 starts and one substitute appearance in the league for the Cherries, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Back in 2017-18, the forward scored eight goals and provided three assists in the league, while in 2016-17, the Norwegian scored 16 goals and provided two assists in the league, according to WhoScored.

Good signing for Everton?

King has proven to be a reliable attacking player in the Premier League who scores goals and creates chances, and although he may not be the world-class player who would take Everton to the Champions League, he would be a smart signing who would give another option to manager Carlo Ancelotti.
