Everton are looking to make waves in the summer transfer window.

According to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio, Everton have now concluded their meeting with officials from AC Milan to discuss the possible signings of Carlos Bacca, M’Baye Niang and Gianluca Lapadula.
From that list it seems clear which area of the field the Toffees are keen to strengthen next, and that is no surprise with Romelu Lukaku’s future seemingly away from Goodison Park.

Everton’s director of football Steve Walsh was among the Everton representatives taking part in the meeting, and his presence means it was always more likely the club were discussing potential new arrivals rather than possible sales.
The report from Di Marzio goes on to claim that there could be further developments in the coming days regarding Everton’s talks, and Bacca in particular would be a very exciting addition to Ronald Koeman’s squad if a deal can be done in due course.

The 30-year-old centre forward has scored 34 goals in 77 matches for Milan, including 14 last season, and he would certainly be a decent replacement for Lukaku if the Belgian is true to his word and leaves Everton this summer.
Three years Bacca’s junior but far less prolific in front of goal, Lapadula is an interesting if uninspiring target, while Niang failed to justify his reputation during a failed loan stint at Watford last season.
