Everton are interested in bringing Romain Saiss back to the Premier League as Sean Dyche adds a new defender.
Romain Saiss could become the next former Wolverhampton Wanderers man to end up at Everton.
That is according to a report from Foot Mercato, who claim that interest is mounting in Saiss.
It’s claimed that Everton and Nottingham Forest want to lure Saiss back to England after just a year away.
Forest are understood to fancy the experience of Saiss in order to try and stay in the Premier League once again.
French clubs are interested too whilst Saiss is understood to have received a ‘big offer’ from an unknown club in Qatar.
Saiss – who reached the World Cup semi-finals with Morocco – has plenty to think about, especially as he still has one year left to run on his contract at Turkish club Besiktas.
Now 33, Saiss may fancy one last crack at the Premier League – at least, that’s certainly what Everton and Forest will hope.

Everton could sign another ex-Wolves player in Romain Saiss
Everton fans are probably pretty used to seeing links to former Wolves players by now.
Toffees director of football Kevin Thelwell spent 12 years at Wolves and has brought a Molineux influence to Goodison Park.
Thelwell pounced to sign defender Conor Coady on loan from Wolves last summer having witnessed his leadership abilities first-hand.
Thelwell also brought in Sporting left back Ruben Vinagre on loan with the former Wolves man joining Coady at Goodison Park.
Both players arrived on loan at Everton but didn’t quite to enough to earn permanent stays on Merseyside.
Thelwell hasn’t been deterred though and is now chasing Saiss, who racked up more than 200 appearances for Wolves after a 2016 move from Angers.
The Moroccan international offers natural left-sided ability at the back and his Premier League experience could be handy for Everton.
Thelwell is surely the man driving this interest and Everton will hope to beat Forest in the race for Saiss this summer.
