Everton are the favourites to sign Paulo Gazzaniga, the Telegraph report.
Everton are keen on the Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper, who could be let go today.
And it seems that the Toffees are now ahead of the competition in the battle to sign the stopper.
Gazzaniga, who was described as ‘fantastic’ by former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino (Spurs official website), has slipped down the pecking order at Tottenham, following the arrival of Joe Hart.
However, a move to Everton could see the Argentine immediately promoted to being first-choice.

Jordan Pickford has made far too many errors of late in an Everton shirt, and blundered again in his last game at the weekend.
With Everton performing so well at the start of the season, Carlo Ancelotti’s side now appear to be on the look out for a new goalkeeper, to try and make themselves even harder to beat.
And it seems that they are now at the head of the queue to land Gazzaniga, who could make an appealing deadline day addition for Ancelotti’s men.
