Everton are now very close to sealing a deal for Allan from Napoli, according to CalcioNapoli24.
Everton have been heavily linked with Allan heading into Carlo Ancelotti’s first season at Goodison Park, with TuttoMercato suggesting that the Italian boss rang the Napoli man in January to try and persuade him to move.
The Brazilian midfielder linked up with Ancelotti at Napoli, and impressed in the Everton boss’s system.
With the Toffees looking for midfield additions, it seems that Allan has been made one of the club’s top targets.
The deal could be close to completion now too, as Everton have almost reached a compromise.

Everton are said to be just £4.5 million away from reaching Napoli’s asking price, after submitting an offer worth around £26 million in total.
If Allan was to join Everton he could offer them more energy and quality in the midfield area.
Ancelotti struggled to find a reliable midfield pairing towards the back end of last campaign, and Allan’s arrival should significantly strengthen them in the position.
