The Portuguese international had been linked with a move to Goodison.

Everton have recently been linked with a move for former Manchester United winger Nani. It was reported by talkSPORT in April that Everton were looking into bringing Nani back to the Premier League from Turkish side Fenerbahce.
The 29-year-old has a release clause of around £6.4 million and that has certainly seen him catch the eye of many a club.

However, a report in Turkey today, has suggested Everton have no intention of paying that much for the player.
The report from Takvim has suggested that Everton do not wish to spend that much on the Portugal international.
Instead it is more likely that Nani will be heading to China this summer.

Everton certainly need to bring in improvements in the wide positions and Nani, with his obvious talent and Premier League experience, would have seemed a good option.
Everton have however recently sacked Roberto Martinez which may have changed their opinion on signing the player – whilst the fact he is approaching 30 may also play a factor in this apparent decision.

Everton fans will be hoping to see a winger arrive this summer but it seems it won’t be Nani.
