According to a report in the Daily Mail, Everton have a list of three goalkeeper targets to sign during the summer transfer window.

Everton want to bring in a new number one, as they feel their goalkeeper options need to be strengthened.

Maarten Stekelenburg started this season as the Toffees first choice stopper, but they have turned to Joel Robles more recently.

The Spaniard has done a solid job in net for Everton, but Ronald Koeman wants an upgrade this summer.

And Koeman has identified three potential targets for Everton, as he plans ahead to the summer.

Everton have identified Fraser Forster, Jordan Pickford and Kasper Schmeichel as their top goalkeeping targets, after being impressed by the trio’s form this season.

Koeman has worked with Forster before, and would love a reunion with the Southampton goalkeeper.

However, if that deal isn’t possible, Everton also have their eyes on Sunderland’s Pickford and Leicester City’s Schmeichel.

Pickford has had a hugely impressive season and is regarded as one of England’s best prospects.

With Sunderland battling against the drop, there are questions marks over whether the youngster would be content playing Championship football, if David Moyes’ side go down.

Schmeichel, meanwhile, has proven himself to be one of the Premier League’s best custodians in recent times, and Everton could test Leicester’s desire to keep hold of the Danish international in the coming months.
