According to The Express, Everton have joined Tottenham Hotspur in moving on from Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser this summer.

It’s claimed that both clubs were interested in Fraser at one stage, given that he is set to become a free agent next week.

However, it’s stated that they have both moved on to other targets, leaving Fraser to consider his options ahead of becoming a free agent.

Crystal Palace and Watford now appear to be his main suitors. In terms of stature and expectations, that’s something of a drop from Spurs and Everton.

Whether Palace and Watford can meet Fraser’s wage demands remains to be seen, but it appears that he could miss out on a big move after a disappointing season.

Fraser, 26, was a star in the 2018-19 season with seven goals and 14 assists. However, his numbers have dipped this season to just one goal and four assists.

Last week, the Daily Mail claimed that Fraser has told teammates that he thinks Everton are his best option for a move this summer, but that possibility appears to be fading away.

Everton could look elsewhere, and with Fraser just a week away from becoming a free agent, it’s unclear just where he will be heading as a big move suddenly seems unlikey.
