According to Tutto Mercato Web, Everton are monitoring Christian Eriksen’s situation at Inter Milan with just days remaining of the transfer window.
The Italian news outlet states that the Toffees have already made a ‘timid’ attempt to sign the 103-cap Denmark international.
Tutto Mercato Web continue, saying that this ‘timid’ approach could become something more in the next few days.
Everton are described as ‘vigilant’ in the report, and it very much sounds as if Eriksen is on their radar as we approach the end of January.
The former Tottenham man – who left England to join Inter Milan in a £16.9 million deal – has struggled at the San Siro.

Eriksen has scored just five goals in 41 appearances for the Italian giants, while also registering just three assists.
His form in Milan has been hugely contrasting to his efforts in north London.
In 226 Premier League appearances for Tottenham, the Dane scored 51 goals and assisted a further 62.

Impressively, this means he racked up an eye-catching 113 goal involvements.
In that respect, if you were to ignore his form under Antonio Conte, then Eriksen would be an excellent signing for Everton.
The 28-year-old is someone who knows the Premier League well, and has already proven that he can compete at the highest level in England.
