Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly desperate to sign Everton’s Premier League enforcer Idrissa Gana Gueye.

The Idrissa Gana Gueye saga continues to rumble on with no sign of a light at the end of the tunnel.
It is no secret that Paris Saint-Germain want to recruit the 29-year-old Everton enforcer with manager Thomas Tuchel making his desire for a defensive midfielder clear given that both Adrien Rabiot and Lassana Diarra look certain to leave in the near future.
The Mirror reports that Everton are demanding £40 million for Gueye, however, a fee that has seemingly put the buffers on a potential move to the Ligue 1 champions.
But how does the former Lille ace feel about a potential return to France?
Well, if Le Parisien is to be believed, Gueye has already agreed personal terms with PSG. It is understood that he has negotiated a salary and decided on the length of his contract.

But there is a long way to go before a deal can be done. Thanks to Financial Fair Play concerns, PSG can only afford to pay £26 million for Gueye so they are on the lookout for alternatives with Zenit St Petersburg’s Leandro Paredes and Tuchel’s former Dortmund ace Julian Weigel lined up.
As it stands, however, it would be a surprise if Gueye is an Everton player this time next year.
