Moise Kean is on the verge of sealing a return to Serie A champions Juventus after falling out of favour at Everton, according to TuttoJuve.

Carlo Ancelotti might still believe that the seldom-seen Italian has a part to play at Goodison Park but, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin turning hat-tricks into an almost weekly tradition these days, the chances of Kean forcing his way into the Toffees’ starting XI any time soon look decidedly slim (Echo).

The £27 million man has played just 13 minutes of Premier League football so far this season and was left on the bench during the 2-1 win at Crystal Palace last Saturday.

Given that Kean is determined to force his way into Roberto Mancini’s thinking ahead of the European Championships, the 20-year-old could jump at the chance to kick-start his stalling career on his old stomping ground.

Juventus have been trying to bring Kean back to Turin ever since selling him last summer.

According to TuttoJuve, an emotional homecoming is now closer than ever to becoming a reality.

Calciomercato reported a few weeks ago that a man who helped fire Juve to Serie A glory during Max Allegri’s final season in the dugout is very much open to the idea of pulling on those iconic black and white stripes again.

Then again, while Kean is the second choice striker at Everton, he would surely find himself even further down the pecking order at Juve.

The Italian giants recently brought back another former fan favourite in the shape of Alvaro Morata to compete with Cristiano Roanldo and reigning Serie A Player of the Year Paulo Dybala.

Kean, whose Everton spell has been hampered with disciplinary issues and wasteful finishing, has started just six Premier League games, scoring twice.
