Turkish Football have claimed that Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru has landed himself in hot water with Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim, which has resulted in a meeting being scheduled.

Onyekuru, 21, signed for Everton in the summer of 2017 from Belgian side KAS Eupen, but was immediately loaned to Anderlecht where he scored 10 goals in 28 league and cup appearances.

With issues still surrounding his work permit, the Nigeria international then went on loan to Turkish side Galatasaray in the summer and has since scored two goals in 10 league and cup outings.

However, the report claims that Onyekuru, who is currently on international duty with Nigeria, has lost his focus at the Champions League side and manager Terim has organised a meeting with the Everton star to get him back on track.

It is not the first time Onyekuru has left his manager unimpressed. Goal quoted Anderlecht manager Hein Vanhaezebrouck as saying that the versatile attacker “always lets himself down.”

It remains to be seen what the result is of the meeting between Onyekuru and Terim, but one thins is for sure – Everton have certainly got themselves a temperamental player on their hands. His contract ends in 2022.
