Everton fans would love to see another striker arrive at Goodison Park this month.
Reports emanating from France claim that Everton are interested in signing APOEL FC striker Pieros Sotiriou, according to French media outlet Le Parisien.
The 19-capped Cyprus international has been in prolific form for his club so far this term, notching an impressive 14 goals in 18 league outings.

And Le Parisien claim that the Toffees have enquired about the potential availability of Sotiriou, although they could face compeotion in the race to sign him, with Southampton and Stoke City also showing interest in the Cypriot.
Ronald Koeman’s men have become overly reliant on Romleu Lukaku recently, so the potential addition of another striker would certainly be a welcome one for Blues fans.

Sotiriou has been with APOEL since the summer of 2013, and is under contract with the club until the summer of 2020.
And although there was no kind of transfer fee mentioned in the report, Everton’s financial superiority over the Cypriot outfit should enable them to easily prise him away from his club, if they decide to pursue their reported interest.
Sotiriou could become only the third player from Cyprus to play in the Premier League, should a move come to fruition.
