According to Le Quotidian Du Foot, Everton have made contact with the representatives of Lucas Tousart.

Everton appear to be looking to sign another midfielder, even after the arrival of Fabian Delph, with Idrissa Gueye’s future uncertain.

Marco Silva’s side are now said to be keen on Tousart, who has impressed at Lyon.

The 22-year-old fits the mould of the sort of player that Everton usually sign, as he has so much potential.

Tousart is very experienced for his age, after playing 125 times for Lyon in France’s top division.

It has previously been suggested by Calcio Mercato that Tousart would cost around £30 million to buy from Lyon.

That could be a smart purchase for the Toffees, if Tousart does go on and fulfil his potential.

Tousart is a technically adept midfielder, who also possesses some credible defensive qualities.

Everton have made three signings so far this summer, with Jonas Lossl, Andre Gomes and Delph arriving.
